A one million pound sports hall set on the campus of Concord College in the historic conservation area of Acton Burnell. The completed building takes advantage of a dramatic change of level on the site. The north facing facade resembles a low lying pavilion set at the edge of a sports field. The main bulk of the sports hall is set below this level with separate entrances on the south facade. The south facade has been constructed to incorporate a climbing wall, as well as access for service vehicles. In addition to the large sports hall there are changing rooms, a multi gym and an aerobics room.
