A Methodist chapel set on a west facing
hillside, with long views over mid-Wales.The
chapel has a footprint of just 5 x 7m, and the
brief was to provide a sitting room, kitchen,
bathroom, bedroom & study within the space,
without loosing the feeling of height and
space.

The use of internal glass balconies
preserves the sense of light and space,
and the original volume of the chapel
remains fully legible.
The windows are 1800mm above
floor level,and the sitting room floor
was raised in order to take advantage of spectacular views.
