CRAVEN ARMS REGENERATION PROJECT

A new civic project to assist in the physical and economic regeneration of the Shropshire market town of Craven Arms, jointly promoted by South Shropshire District Council, South Shropshire Housing Association and Advantage West Midlands.

Block A contains a range of A1 retail and A2 office units to rent, and nine affordable apartments.

Block B contains office and customer service space for the Housing Association, the Primary Care Trust and Social Services.

A future Block C contains eight private dwellings.

A new public square is created on the A49 frontage, with a new pedestrian connection between transport infrastructure to the west, and the market town centre to the east.

The project is designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of excellent, and construction is expected to start on site in April 2004.
