The proposed Dwelling refers to many nearby precedents, curved roofs and timber cladding associated with rural and agricultural buildings.
However the proposal does not seek to mechanically reproduce the appearance of these buildings at the same time it is a contemporary statement;
a modern building in a rural setting.

The overall form is gently articulated.
A timber 'plinth' sits beneath a 'floating' curved roof. The rendered curved form slides from the main body of the house to present the main entrance. A balcony slides out from the
house to the north and a
roof terrace extends to first floor
living space to the west to take
advantage of the exceptional views.
