Planning permission has recently been granted for a new teaching block for Shrewsbury Sixth Form College.

The scheme is located in an existing car park in front of the college's learning centre. The new building will contain a number of teaching spaces, social spaces and a lecture theatre.

The illustration opposite shows the new entrance building which frames the approach from the street. Within this block is the college's new classroom for the future which will incorporate the latest communications technology.
